This world is at war and always has been since its inception. There is God and there is Satan. There is truth and there is error. There is light and there is darkness. There is right and there is wrong. There are angels and there are demons. There are God’s people and there are the lost. This war will one day end with God, His angels, and those whose names are found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life triumphant. Satan, his demons, and those whose names are not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be vanquished to the lake of fire forever. These are absolute truths. Some may not like or agree with these truths. They are true nonetheless. I make no apology for believing the truth. That Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose triumphant from the grave on the third day is a wonderful truth. There are two consuming passions in my life. The first is to know as intimately as possible the God who has created me. The second is to help as many others as possible to know Him too–to find salvation and to become all that He has made them to be. Nothing else much matters. The main gift God has given me to accomplish that purpose is writing, particularly story telling. Jesus told stories. Stories have a way a attracting our interest. Compelling stories have a way of staying with us. And so I labor to tell compelling stories, some fiction and some non-fiction of people struggling in the world we live in, a world at war. May all who read these writings become all that God has made them to be.
